Based on real-life experiences, teacher Erin Gruwell enters Woodrow Wilson High School ill-prepared for the challenges of her at-risk students. Met with conflict at every stage, she finally makes a connection wit them through a duscussion of "The Diary of Anne Frank" and encourages them to write their own daily journals. Recommended for teens and adults. Bring your own lunch and enjoy a short introduction of historical and artistic highlights. Coffee and tea will be served. No registration.

Location: Community Rooms
